DropDart reimagines last-mile delivery by letting everyday people deliver parcels while travelling their regular routes — making the process quick and affordable for everyone involved.

What needed solving

The delivery industry relies on massive fleets of personnel for pickups and drop-offs, requiring enormous upfront investment and increasing per-package costs. On top of that, customers are understandably hesitant to entrust valuable packages to strangers.

How we tackled it

We researched existing on-demand service applications, consulted stakeholders, interviewed potential customers, and reviewed government regulations. The primary issue identified was trust — customers hesitant to hand packages to strangers.

What we delivered

We designed a trust-first experience: a vetting system for delivery personnel, real-time package tracking, transparent communication at every step, and a premium service tier using company employees for high-value items. The green colour palette was chosen to convey stability and consistency. Parcel size selection (Small to Huge) matches packages to appropriate vehicles, and OTP confirmation secures both pickup and delivery.
